Combating drugs cooperation

Mr. Milan PEKIĆ, director of the Office for Combating Drugs of the Republic of Serbia and Mr. Kihachiro NISHIURA, president of the Japan Southeast Europe Business Association signed Cooperation Agreement.

This Agreement is signed with intention for a long-term cooperation and partnership related to the topics of fight against drugs and promotion of the international cooperation of the Republic of Serbia and Japan on all levels. 

Main goal of this Cooperation Agreement is to support Office for Combating Drugs of the Republic of Serbia with activities related to connecting with institutional counterparts from Japan, exchange of best practices, support in building institutional capacities of the Office, according to shown needs, as well as implementation of various projects related to JAPAN-SERBIA cooperation in field of fight against drugs. 

AQUAFARM SEE, as local representative of JSEEBA will support Office for Combating Drugs of the Republic of Serbia in preparation of the requests, communication and coordination with JSEEBA, and also be actively involved in planning, development and implementation of mutual projects.

This Cooperation Agreement is concluded by both parties and from all necessary activities related to the connecting Office for Combating Drugs of the Republic of Serbia with Japanese institutional partners will not arise any financial obligation to the Serbian Party. 

This Cooperation Agreement represent first of many steps toward building strong partnership and friendship between Japan and Serbia on institutional and all other levels.
